Keith Tuners, part 2
In this post, I discussed the concepts and principles of the Keith D-tuners Since then, I've added two more Keiths to the 24-string Double Subcontraguitar for a total of six.
Six Keith tuners means that I can have a total of 12 tunings on one instrument. That brings a larger palette of tunings, atmospheres, textures, harmonics, and more. However, it also makes the creation of new tunings more complex.
The Keith tuners also open up quite a broad and previously unattainable scope of compositional possibilities.
It will be a learning and growth experience to fully incorporate these new concepts. It's pretty exciting.
